So, a runner next to my stovetop and oven would surely get nasty quick. I have had enough experience with a kitchen mat in front of the sink to know that kitchen rugs get dirty fast. Have you tried a Ruggable rug? I’d love to hear what you thought – good or bad! And if you have questions about Ruggable, I’m happy to try to answer. So, when I began my kitchen makeover, I knew I wanted to add some comfort and colorful interest to the floor between my kitchen cabinets and island by way of a runner. Ruggable also sells outdoor rug options, which I haven’t tried yet but am definitely tempted by! The runner and pad combo we chose was $149 (and if I’d only needed the cover, it would have been $100), which felt reasonable to me.Įven their biggest rugs (9 feet by 12 feet) are usually in the $500 range and more like $350 if you don’t need a new pad. I’ve vacuumed mine several times a week since I got it and even then, it doesn’t move.Īs far as the price of Ruggables, I feel like they’re pretty darn affordable. Ours gets walked on, skipped on and sat on all day every day and it hasn’t moved an inch.Īnd the rug cover stays on with no problem. I’ve heard complaints about Ruggable corners coming up, but so far I haven’t had a bit of trouble with them (there are pockets on the back corners, but these aren’t for tucking the pad into – they’re weighted down with silicone to keep the corners from curling up). I’ve been VERY impressed with the non slip pad – it truly doesn’t move. If (and let’s be honest, when) you need to wash your cover, you just peel off the rug cover, toss it in your washing machine and dryer and then when it’s done, roll it back into place. Once your Ruggable rug arrives, you lay down the non slip pad and then roll the cover the top and it stays very well-attached. Standardly, they come together, but you can choose just the rug cover only if you already have the pad (and obviously this makes it less expensive). You have the non slip Ruggable pad and then you have the Ruggable rug cover that sits on top of it. The way that Ruggable rugs work is that it’s a two-part system. (FYI: If you click on the link for the Watercolor Floral rug, you’ll see that it looks brighter and pinker than the one in the photos here – the photos here are much more accurate).Įverything You Might Want to Know About Ruggable We picked the Watercolor Floral Rug in the 2.5 x 7 foot option and it came within about a week and a half (the order confirmation email said it’d be 2-4 weeks before it shipped, but it shipped 5 days later). I mentioned them on InstaStories and asked if they really were that great and the comments came FLOODING in – the vast majority of people absolutely loved their Ruggable rugs (only 3 people were neutral or not fans of theirs). I’d heard about Ruggable rugs and the idea of a washable rug really appealed to me. Our kitchen was also very neutral with all white cabinetry, countertops and backsplash, so a little pop of color felt right. We’ve never actually had a rug in our kitchen, but I’ve always liked the look of them and in this kitchen we really needed one because the original hardwood floors that we uncovered when we pulled up the linoleum have some water damage from a leaking dishwasher that I definitely wanter covered up. When we finished our kitchen this summer, the last part was getting a runner to go in front of the sink. #Ruggable runner codeHere’s everything you need to know about Ruggable – use the code AFF10 for 10% off your order!
